Zone's new website ticks every box

0 Comments- Add comment Written on 12-Aug-2010 by zone

Zone has launched a new website aimed at anyone, anywhere in the UK, who is looking for information about where to learn music.

wheretolearnmusic.com is aimed at three main groups of people:

  • Students / pupils
  • Parents of children of all ages searching for music lessons and classes / education professionals looking for courses / adult learners looking for music learning opportunities
  • Schools and teachers looking for ideas and partners / professional musicians and teachers looking for franchise opportunities

Over the coming months, we’ll be building the most comprehensive directory of music schools, courses and summer schools, retailers, music service suppliers... basically, every company and organisation involved in learning and buying music.

We’ll be heavily promoting wheretolearnmusic.com across our portfolio of websites and events and the site will also be optimised to appear high in the search engine results across a wide range of keywords searched for by:

  • Parents looking for music clubs, groups and classes for their children
  • Teachers looking for professional development and business opportunities / adult learners
  • Members of all of these groups looking for music, instruments and equipment

We’re looking forward to helping you begin or continue your musical journey. If you have any ideas for how we can do this better, let us know at wheretolearnmusic.com.

Zone has partnered with the Federation of Music Services and Think Again Media to produce FMSbuzz, a new news and campaigning website for UK Local Authority Music Services.

The site will link the 26 Music Services currently participating in the Music Services Campaign and Communications programme, giving each a local profile within a national network. It will also equip Music Service Champions to spearhead a radical awareness and action plan within their local communities.

As well as featuring profiles of every LA Music Service in the UK, FMSbuzz will publish zone magazine, Zone's online music education magazine, five times a year.
